Libraries interested in providing an information update service to patrons of their institutions (faculty, residents, clinical staff, students) purchase an institutional license to MedInfoNOW. Offered in both a books-only and a books-and-journal article version tied to the institution's IP addresses, MedInfoNOW provides registered users
- A Weekly Literature Update, customized to the individual user's profiled areas of interest;
- weekly announcements from the library about new programs and services it is offering;
- access to the Web's most comprehensive database of book and software titles in the health sciences, including Doody's reviews;
- optional access to filtered weekly updates of the Medline® database, with direct links to articles through the institution's PubMed LinkOut.
