Doody's Review Service premiered on the Web at the Annual Meeting of the Medical Library Association in May 1995 and has been subscribed to by thousands of medical librarians around the world.

MedInfoNOW

Libraries interested in providing an information update service to patrons of their institutions (faculty, residents, clinical staff, students) purchase an institutional license to MedInfoNOW. Offered in both a books-only and a books-and-journal article version tied to the institution's IP addresses, MedInfoNOW provides registered users 

  • A Weekly Literature Update, customized to the individual user's profiled areas of interest;
  • weekly announcements from the library about new programs and services it is offering;
  • access to the Web's most comprehensive database of book and software titles in the health sciences, including Doody's reviews;
  • optional access to filtered weekly updates of the Medline® database, with direct links to articles through the institution's PubMed LinkOut.
