From its inception in 1993, the mission of Doody Enterprises has been to develop highly-valued information update services for healthcare professionals using technology to help reduce the vexing problem of information overload.
To accomplish its mission, Doody Enterprises has relied since the beginning on the expert counsel of the members of its volunteer organization, the Library Board of Advisors. The Board typically meets at least once a year, usually in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Medical Library Association. A local Board, consisting of directors of medical libraries in the Chicago area, where Doody Enterprises is located, convenes more regularly.
